Park Creek Ranch Wedding in Stanley Idaho

If you’ve ever been to Stanley, Idaho then you know how special of a place it is. To Shannon and Josh, it is their everything. They spend most of their available weekends exploring the hundreds of miles of trails, numerous rivers, and gorgeous alpine lakes. It’s where their relationship flourished so when it came time for them to start planning their wedding Stanley was the obvious choice.

Their crew had nearly a week of wedding festivities but my coverage began on their wedding day. They chose to get married at the iconic Park Creek Ranch in Stanley. Located just minutes from the town of Stanley it has absolutely stunning views of the Sawtooth mountain range. Shannon and Josh are both creative souls at heart and executed their vision for their wedding perfectly. It was a mix of western, boho, traditional, and romantic. With the help of a few very special vendors and family members, they pulled off an incredible day.

Take time to slow down on your wedding day

Laugh with your friends, cry happy tears with your family, take shots, go on a walk. Make it your dream day from the beginning.

Park Creek Ranch is a special venue for a few reasons. The first is that it is a private residence that is only rented out for a few weddings per year. It has one of the best views of the Sawtooths in my opinion. The bridal party spent the morning getting ready on the ranch, making drinks, and hanging out before the festivities of the day.

Guests were shuttled in by a bus service based out of Stanley. Their guests nailed Shannon and Josh’s Western vision for their guest’s attire!

The reception was held under a white tent on the property. Food was served buffet style and was absolutely delicious. Speeches were shared, tears were shed and memories were made.

The best part about Park Creek Ranch is that you don’t have to go far for amazing views. Shannon and Josh really wanted to prioritize spending time with their guests rather than taking photos for most of the day. We were able to get all their sunset portraits right next to the reception quickly so they could get back to their party. We got some amazing shots that they will cherish forever!
